# What You Need:

→ Base

01 - 3 cups crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex)
02 - 3 cups corn cereal squares (such as Corn Chex)
03 - 2 cups small pretzel twists
04 - 2 cups salted peanuts
05 - 2 cups bite-sized cheese crackers (such as Goldfish or Cheez-It)

→ Sweets

06 - 2 cups mini chocolate-coated candies (such as M&M's)
07 - 2 cups mini marshmallows

→ Coating

08 - 24 ounces white chocolate chips or white candy coating
09 - 2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)

# Directions:

01 - Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend crispy rice cereal squares, corn cereal squares, small pretzel twists, salted peanuts, cheese crackers, mini marshmallows, and chocolate-coated candies.
03 - In a microwave-safe bowl, heat white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 30-second increments, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
04 - Pour the melted white chocolate evenly over the snack mixture and quickly fold using a spatula until all components are thoroughly coated.
05 - Transfer the coated snack mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading into a single even layer.
06 - Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for approximately 20 minutes, or until the coating is fully set.
07 - Break the hardened mix into bite-sized clusters and store in an airtight container for up to one week.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • You can throw it together in record time and look like you planned ahead the whole week.
  • It vanishes at gatherings faster than almost anything else I’ve made—there are never leftovers to bring home.
02 -
  • If you rush the spreading step, you’ll end up with a frightening mega-clump—go slow and separate pieces as you work.
  • One year I skipped the coconut oil, and the chocolate seized into an odd candy glob—never again.
03 -
  • Sift broken cereal dust out of your base mix for extra clean chunks—no one loves snack powder in their teeth.
  • A pinch of flaky salt on top takes it straight from kid treat to grown-up favorite.
