Honey Halloumi (Printable Version)

# What You Need:

→ Cheese

01 - 9 oz halloumi cheese

→ Coating & Frying

02 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil

→ Topping

04 - 2 tbsp honey
05 - 1 tbsp toasted pistachios or walnuts, roughly chopped
06 - 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or mint), chopped
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Directions:

01 - Slice the halloumi into 1/2 inch thick pieces and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
02 - Lightly dust each slice with flour, shaking off any excess to ensure a thin, even coating.
03 - Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
04 - Fry the halloumi slices for 2–3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
05 - Arrange the fried halloumi on a serving plate.
06 - Drizzle warm honey over the cheese, sprinkle with toasted nuts and fresh herbs, and finish with black pepper to taste.
07 - Serve immediately while hot to enjoy the optimal texture.
