05 - Serve warm as a snack, dessert, or topping for yogurt, pancakes, or grilled meats.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The air fryer creates these gorgeous caramelized edges that you normally only get from grilling, but without heating up your whole house or firing up the outdoor grill in winter
  • Its ridiculously fast, ready in 15 minutes start to finish, and the natural sweetness intensifies so much you might forget it is just fruit
02 -
  • Overcrowding is the enemy here, the pineapple needs space for hot air to circulate and create those caramelized edges
  • The cooking time can vary depending on your air fryer model and how ripe your pineapple is, so start checking around 8 minutes
03 -
  • If your pineapple is not very ripe, add the full tablespoon of sugar to help compensate, but skip it entirely for very ripe pineapples
  • Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper for easier cleanup, especially if you are using the oil and sugar coating
